Re: Association Update – Board Meeting and Facilities Use
The Board of Directors hopes everyone is healthy and safe during these times. The Board is watching information provided at Federal, State and County levels to determine the best course of action for our Members and Residents. Please be advised of the following:
- The April Board of Directors Meeting is cancelled. Meeting locations are not available at this time. The Board will consider meeting at the pool should the situation in May allow this.
- Following the actions of the County and State the Mews is closing its tot lots. The Association cannot guarantee that these areas will be COVID-19 free. You use the equipment at your own risk! At this time the Tennis Court and the Basketball Court will remain open. Please remember to adhere to the Governor’s mandate as to social distancing.
- At this point the Board is operating under the assumption that the pool will open on June 11, 2020. This is per the Governor of Virginia’s Executive Order. Please understand that no firm call can be made until closer to the actual opening date. Please watch the website for updates on pool passes.
The Mews is an active and social community. The Board is ready to return to normal activities as soon as the current health crisis is resolved.
